iPhone 16 Pro Max Logicboard repair & data recovery

An iPhone 16 Pro Max came in with one symptom: completely dead. No response, no charging icon, nothing. After a thorough inspection we found that multiple charging ICs on the logic board had failed — caused by a counterfeit USB-C cable or low quality charger. Cheap accessories often deliver unstable voltages, which can be fatal for the sensitive chips inside modern iPhones.
We replaced three components: the serialised USB-C data controller chip, the ROM chip and the USB-C charging IC. What makes this repair particularly complex is that Apple's iPhone 16 series uses serialised, encrypted chips. A replacement chip cannot simply be soldered in — each chip must be individually programmed and paired to that specific device. Without this step, iOS will simply refuse to recognise the hardware.
The best part? All data was completely saved. Photos, contacts, messages, apps — everything exactly as the owner left it. From a fully dead device to an iPhone working like new, with every bit of precious data intact.
