An iPad Pro 11 A2228 came in for repair. The device was completely dead and not responding at all.

After inspection, we found that the charging IC CD3217B12 was defective. We replaced the faulty chip with a new one and programmed the chip data correctly.

After the repair, the iPad came back to life — with all data preserved.

Repair is often far more affordable than the service offered by the manufacturer. In many cases, manufacturers choose to replace a faulty motherboard or device with a refurbished unit instead of repairing the specific issue.

By choosing repair:

  • You save significantly on costs

  • You keep your own device and your data

  • You contribute to a more sustainable solution

  • You help reduce waste of production materials

Repairing is not only better for your wallet, but also better for our planet 🌍
