We received a MacBook Air 13" (A2179) with extremely severe water damage. The customer had already tried several companies for data recovery, but nobody could get the data back. The damage was extensive: not only the logic board, but also the display, the trackpad and the I/O board were affected.

We first tried to repair the original logic board (820-01958), but it had heavily burned areas and even a hole under the main power IC. So we decided to transplant all the required chips to a healthy logic board. After the transplant, we made a full Time Machine backup. All data was recovered.
