A customer brought in a faulty automotive ECU with a defective CPU. Programming a new unit wasn't an option in this case — the vehicle-specific data and immobiliser pairing would have been lost in the process.
At Nodefix, we transferred the original controller chip — including all onboard data — to a new ECU. This is chip-level precision work: the data stays intact, the vehicle pairing is preserved, and no dealer recoding is required.
After the repair, the car started immediately with all functions fully operational.
